Gav Cross
Gav Cross started his career as a Secondary School teacher of Drama & Theatre studies and a Community Drama practitioner. After the birth of his first son, his career path took a turn when Tom was permanently ventilated with a 24 hour care package at home. Involved in parent participation and advocacy, Gav turned from poacher to gamekeeper as the co-ordinator for Early Support in Salford.
For the past 3 years Gav has been a freelance trainer and consultant for his own company Fortom Ltd. As an accredited trainer for Early Support, a consultant for Together For Disabled Children, a consultant for early Support in Wales and director of his own company, Fortomltd.co.uk. As well as developing and delivering Creative Team Building and Action Planning activities for public sector practitioners and teams.
Based in Liverpool Gav is supporting the development the Children’s training and consultancy programme for the North West Training & Development Team.
In his spare time Gav still likes a Drama or two!
