Dene Donalds

Dene is a founding Director of Pathways Community Interest Company. He is the Self Advocacy Regional Co-ordinator, linking both national and regional self advocacy forums. He supports the self advocacy consultation events and the regional task force.
Dene has worked for many years at a senior level in statutory and voluntary organisations with people with disabilities, all aimed at supporting people to take control of their life and live within our shared community. These roles have included managing day opportunities, supported living, community inclusion programmes, self advocacy and employment.
Dene has extensive experience in developing leadership, team building, conflict resolution, creative thinking and is an experienced and well respected coach and mentor. He delivers mindfulness based stress and change management support to individuals and teams.
Dene’s philosophy and belief is that in order to support, empower and enable others we must have developed stability and peace within ourselves. In his spare time he practices and teaches meditation and Mindfulness.
