Person Centred Thinking Skills and Approaches.


Target Audience:

People who use services and family members, direct support, community connectors, managers.


This course would be beneficial for those who are working in a wide range of services including children and adults.

Course objectives:

This 2-day course will give a good introduction to the ethics and purpose of person cantered thinking and ways of working. Participants will be introduced to  tools and skills that will be used over the 2 days . By the end of the course, participants would be able to start using the skills and tools in real life situations. This course is a good refresher and a great way to get started with using person-cantered ways of working. There will be an expectation that participants can develop person centred description, understand how to contribute to a persons plan or a person centred review, understand the purpose of why are we planning and the responsibility of using the skills and tools to keep the plan working towards positive outcomes for people.
